How do
we do it...
Mom loves Frank Sinatra, Dad loves Rock-N-Roll, the grandparents love Big Band and you want to dance to your favorite Top-40 songs. Mixing music that will appeal to a diverse age group is a true art. With two decades of experience and several hundred parties in our books, one constant holds true: there are no two events that are the same. Each group of guests takes on its own personality. What may work at one party, may mean disaster at the next. That is why we are confident in our ability to "read a crowd." If the crowd responds to "Respect" from Aretha Franklin, chances are pretty good that "Ain´t Too Proud to Beg" will work as well. We will continue to play the type of music that gets your guests up and dancing. We work with the understanding that there are approximately sixty songs that will be played during the dance portion of your event. This is why we feel that there should be a concerted effort to play those songs that transcend age differences. Songs like "Twist and Shout," "In The Mood" and "I Will Survive" are timeless. Creating the correct transitions from song to song, coupled with your suggestions and your guests requests will ensure that your event is a success with disc-jockeys.net.
